Stewart Nimmo
As you may have guessed from the name of the place, Stewart is the main man. His landscape photography is the backbone of the gallery and his passion for photography is what the business is built on. A coaster born and bred, he has a strong connection to the places ha photographs, and vision for Greymouth that his contemporary gallery is a big part of.
Stewart has been in the game for near on ten years. Long enough to be synonymous with photography in Greymouth, and up and down the Coast. Photography was not his first calling, however. A great appreciation for the West Coast's scenery grew out of XX years spent exploring as a surveyor.
Stewart's strong passions for his home and his craft shine through in his landscape imagery, and his 'Sure, why not?' atttitude is widely known. He is a Master of Photography with the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers, and has a string of awards which attest to his skill with a camera.
